What is Emergency Management and Business Continuity?
Emergency Management – the discipline of effectively coordinating available resources in planning for, responding to, recovering from, and mitigating the threat caused by crisis.
Business Continuity – the practice of planning in order to mitigate the loss of life, property, brand and customer good will, operational capability, market share, and management credibility, following the impact of a natural, man-made, or technological disaster.
